About The Role

OTB Sports is looking for a Commercial Content Producer, an experienced content creator to lead programming responses to OTB’s commercial partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ideation: understand and respond to briefs from commercial clients and agencies. Utilise existing methods of content creation and build on this with new formats, concepts, guests and themes. Be creative.
  • Plan: lead planning meetings with stakeholders from all sectors of the business. Share notes and actions, use existing processes to track latest updates and to archive past events. Communicate.
  • Produce: coordinate production by liaising with hosts, guests, sound and video engineers, events staff and more to make best-in-class shows for live and on-demand audiences. Drive high standards.
  • Co-ordinate: be the central communication point for all stakeholders and build a process around that to support your work – Teams channels, production and broadcast schedules, long term planning calendars. Be relentlessly detailed.
  • Audience: work closely with the video production team to identify the best content, seek out platform-appropriate segments, liaise with production teams to ensure contracted deliverables and KPIs are being met. Win new audiences.
  • Positive: commercially driven content can often have multiple touch points of input all the way from ideation to broadcast. A positive approach to lead teams and to find solutions is a key asset.
  • Flexible: you will be working to tight deadlines and will have a flexible approach to your working week to ensure you can be present at events outside of regular business hours.
  • Work closely with OTB’s Head of Content and OTB Commercial team to ensure the timely flow of information at all stages of production.

If the following traits sound like you, you might be the right person for the job:

  • Video and audio editing experience.
  • A track record of leading a team in an editorial capacity.
  • Excellent social media experience - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok. Photoshop skills a bonus.
  • An understanding of analytics to track and report content performance.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment with the capability of creating outstanding written, video, and audio content.
  • Are versatile and have the ability to adapt and engage in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
  • A strong interest in all sports – particularly soccer, gaelic sports & rugby across men’s and women’s sport.
  • Knowledge of libel and defamation laws.
