Job Description

The Role

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the SPIN brand at Bauer Media Audio Ireland.

Currently, the Number 1 Music Station in Dublin, SPIN is one of the leading music and entertainment brands in Ireland, with a highly engaged social audience. Broadcasting in Dublin and the South West, SPIN is an award-winning station with a passion for everything that’s hot right now from the latest album drop to the TikTok trend that’s driving everyone crazy. You’ll hear it first on SPIN.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position works to grow brand awareness and drive audience recruitment by creating and implementing stand out marketing campaigns, supporting audience experiences and activations and managing brand partnerships. You will also collaborate with sales and commercial programming teams to align the SPIN brand seamlessly with commercial partners.

You will be an enthusiastic team player, collaborating with the programming team to achieve our brand objectives.

From time to time, this role includes some weekend / out of hours working dependent on activity.

Responsibilities, skills & qualifications:

What you’ll do

  • Assume role of brand guardian ensuring SPIN is represented consistently and creatively across all activity and outpoints
  • Create and deliver impactful campaigns to drive SPIN’s growth ambition, clearly tracking performance and measuring results
  • Identify suitable brand partnerships to increase SPIN’s share of voice and visibility among our audience in both Dublin and the South West regions
  • Support events team in delivering larger scale brand activations to ensure SPIN delivers a top quality experience to our audience. Such events include SPIN at Longitude, Student Race Days, SPIN House Party Nights etc
  • Assume responsibility for all physical SPIN brand assets from events branding to car fleet and merchandise to props
  • Frequently collaborate with social and content teams to create original content-led marketing campaigns on owned channels
  • Co-ordinate all presenter / DJ photography, media releases and website design assets
  • Manage day-to-day third party and supplier relationships
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns each quarter
  • Manage SPINI street team from briefing to payroll
  • Manage SPIN marketing budget ensuring efficient distribution and reporting
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly brand plans

  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to positively influence and deliver a brand marketing plan
  • Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
  • Experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns, particularly across digital media  
  • Experience of brand events
  • Passionate about social media and clued into emerging trends
  • Understanding of key reporting and analysis tools e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook & Twitter ads manager
  • Some experience of line managing is preferable
  • Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible and agile
  • Passionate about radio, music, and entertainment
  • Experience of commercial partnerships
  • Experience of working closely with agency partners
