About The Role 

 

We’re looking for a stand-out Evening Presenter to join iRadio and make evenings unmissable for a youth audience across 15 counties in the West, North West, Midlands, and North East. This is a career-defining role for someone with energy, personality, and a passion for music, culture, and storytelling. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Live On-Air Hosting - Deliver a daily, content-driven evening show that’s fun, engaging, and uniquely iRadio. 
  • Content Creation - Bring relevant, original ideas that connect with under-35s and build a loyal audience. 
  • Digital & Social Amplification - Collaborate with the social team to create on-brand content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. 
  • Listener Engagement - Interact with audiences on-air and online, making iRadio feel like their community. 
  • Brand Representation - Represent iRadio at events, promotions, and activations, living the brand on and off air. 
  • Creative Storytelling - Find fresh, bold, cheeky ways to tell stories that resonate with young people. 
  • Compliance & Standards - Ensure all content meets iRadio’s editorial guidelines and Coimisiún na Meán requirements. 

 

What You’ll Have:

  • Experience presenting on radio, podcasting, or digital platforms - and hungry to grow your career in broadcast media. 
  • The ability to own a room on-air - energy, wit, relatability, and confidence under pressure. 
  • A sharp understanding of youth culture, hit music, and what gets people talking. 
  • A natural digital-first mindset - you’re as comfortable on TikTok as you are behind a mic. 
  • Self-motivation and initiative to constantly evolve the show and push creative boundaries. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. 

 

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for a duration of 12 months.
