As a reliable Real Estate business partner and expert to Bauer core business for real estate projects and initiatives you are responsible for implementation of Bauer RE strategy across the group. You manage pro-actively the Real Estate portfolio - preparing and implementing RE roadmaps with each business unit.
The position is located in Hamburg (physical presence required).
Your Repsonsibilities:
• Lead group real estate projects with cross-functional and international team cross different countries and several businesses areas with focus on the workplace strategy and design, furniture selection and project management of fit out works until hand over.
• Responsible for projects organization set-up, RE project targets and space requirements, timeline and budget, business case development, cost and quality monitoring, stakeholder management, investment approval and implementation of group standards and workplace strategy, cost and quality monitoring including project closure.
• Select and manage external design teams, RE service providers and contractors.
• Provide expert real estate / architectural / construction decisions, guidance, and consultancy to various RE projects in all project phases.
• Lead negotiation and management of lease, purchase, and sale contracts for real estate.
• Implementation, improvement, and development of various RE standards and procedures (portfolio and database management, workplace guidelines, look and feel, investments approvals, lease contracts, processes, templates, frameworks agreements etc.)
What makes you stand out:
• You have a university degree with major in architecture, interior design or real estate studies and several years of work experience in the context of office design, workplace strategy and fit out projects management across Europe and UK.
• You bring experience and expertise in real estate transactions, workplace strategy and office projects planning and implementation.
• Prior experience in the planning and management of audio and publishing facilities is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate target-oriented and work in a Matrix structure.
• Language proficiency in both German and English
• Requires up to 20% travel across Europe.
