About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Systems Analyst to join our Group Finance Transformation and Excellence team. This role will play a key part in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our global finance systems, with a strong focus on SAP and related technologies. You will act as a vital liaison between our finance and technology functions, facilitating seamless integration, process improvement, and system innovation across Bauer’s international operations.
Location: Germany or Poland (Hybrid/Remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic link between finance and technology teams to align business requirements with system capabilities
- Manage the relationship with SAP and oversee the integration of updates and new functionalities in collaboration with the technology team
- Lead regression testing and change management activities for finance systems
- Identify, assess, and recommend new finance technologies and tools (including SAP and alternatives)
- Support global finance operations by promoting best practices and ensuring consistent process standards
- Coordinate with Global Process Owners and Key Users to prioritize and implement system changes
- Provide comprehensive documentation to bridge business needs and technical specifications
- Represent finance interests in Master Data Governance (MDG) strategy discussions
- Assist in the selection and coordination of external consultants and training resources
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a Finance Systems or Business Analyst role, preferably within a multinational, matrixed organization
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with SAP products, ideally including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Track record of acting as a liaison between finance and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions
- Exposure to finance transformation or systems change initiatives
- High level of discretion, reliability, and professional integrity
- Must be fluent in English, German & Polish.
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred
