Global HR Business Partner (Part-Time/Full-Time)

As a Global HR Business Partner at Bauer Media Group, based in Hamburg, you’ll be a key member of our Group HR team. This position is available as either a full-time role or a part-time role (70%), offering flexibility based on your availability and preferences. 
In this strategic role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders in Group Functions to ensure alignment between business strategies and people management objectives across all 14 Bauer locations, especially in Germany, the UK, and Poland. You will work closely with HR teams for Publishing and Audio, as well as with our Centers of Expertise, including Compensation & Benefits, People & Culture, Organizational Design, Recruiting and Strategy & Transformation, to design and implement effective HR solutions. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a strategic advisor to key stakeholders in Group functions to align business and people strategies 
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the business objectives and drive organizational performance 
  • Partner with the Transformation Enablement team to drive cultural transformation and organizational change 
  • Support organizational design and change management initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Facilitate organizational restructuring, role clarity, and workforce planning 
  • Collaborate with CoE`s to lead talent management processes including talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development 
  • Identify and address talent gaps and development needs 
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives 
  • Foster a culture of engagement and inclusion through various initiatives and programs 

 

Your Profile: 

  • You have 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or consultant in a dynamic, international environment, with deep knowledge in areas such as organizational development, talent management, change management, and employee relations 
  • You are an inspiring HR leader, can assert yourself, unite and motivate team members, and thrive in a virtual matrix organisation 
  • You are process-driven and data-oriented, with strong strategic thinking and financial acumen 
  • In your previous companies you have worked with CoE`s and HRIS tools (SAP Sucess Factors preferably) 
  • You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest HR trends, practices, and legal requirements 
  • You are proactive, with a hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed 
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. You are persuasive and confident in discussions.
