Head of Advertising & Yield Management (f/m/d)

We are seeking a dynamic and execution-oriented Head of Advertising & Yield Management to join our team at Bauer Media Group. In this role, you will lead the on-site revenue optimization for our portfolio of media brands. With a strong knowledge in ad tech and advertising trends, you will be responsible to monitor and grow our advertising revenues working together with our internal and external sales partners and our product & engineering teams.  

 

Your Role: 

  • Define a balanced integration of display, native advertising and other commercial integrations into our content to ensure an intuitive user experience 
  • Optimize the ad placements and ad integration to maximize ad revenue generation incl testing and evaluation of new ad formats 
  • Implement yield optimization strategies based on content types, articles format and user intent to drive revenue growth 
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative advertising products, both technically and conceptually, in collaboration with our sales partners
  • Serve as the product lead for defining the ad server and ad product implementation into our portfolio of websites
  • Coordinate the first-party user data collection and management based on a Data Management Platform (DMP) implementation
  • Conceptualize and test new and creative ad concepts and partner integrations
  • Take ownership in revenue monitoring and reporting based on internal and external forecasts to optimize the revenue streams
  • Drive business development initiatives to explore and test new revenue sources and advertising products

 

Your Profile: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in ad tech products and ad server integration
  • Good knowledge of relevant business KPIs in the digital sector
  • Proven track record in yield management to optimize revenue streams effectively
  • Deep understanding of business dynamics related to advertising revenue optimization 
  • Strong intuition for enhancing user experience
  • Knowledgeable about commerce and partnership revenue models
