QA Engineer (f/m/d)

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality software delivery within an Agile environment. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications, focusing on improving test coverage and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with the QA team, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate testing into the development process, promote best practices, and contribute to the overall quality strategy.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and automate tests for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, TestCafe, or Cypress.
  • Manage CI/CD test pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Identify, track, and prioritize bugs, providing insights for quality improvement.
  • Increase automation coverage for regression and critical paths.
  • Perform performance, load, and cross-browser testing for large-scale applications. Use tools like BrowserStack for cross-browser testing, and Postman or REST Assured for API testing.
  • Support Agile teams in enhancing testing efficiency.
  • Promote a quality-driven culture aligned with DevOps practices.

 

Your Profile:

  • 3 to 5  years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation, including proficiency in using testing frameworks like  Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
  • Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience using tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions.
  • Proficient in API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and cross-browser testing (BrowserStack).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to adapt testing strategies to fit Agile workflows.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ISTQB certification is a plus.
