SAP S4H GR & R2R Functional Specialist

As part of our SAP Centre of Excellence team, we are looking for an experienced SAP S4H GR & R2R Functional Specialist to join us on this journey. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation while supporting day-to-day operations in our Group Reporting and R2R processes.
Location: Hybrid - Germany based
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP Group Reporting & R2R: Provide functional and technical support for Group Reporting (GR) and R2R (Tax, Accounting, Controlling) processes, ensuring seamless business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Incident & Change Management: Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change implementations within agreed timelines and priorities.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with R2R stream members, Key Users, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal process management and backlog reduction.
- Business Process Improvement: Engage with Business Process Owners to understand requirements, identify gaps, and drive improvements in SAP R2R processes.
- Impact Analysis & Documentation: Conduct detailed analysis of the impact of requested changes, create comprehensive solution documentation, and develop technical specifications to meet functional requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive Experience: Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and R2R, including technical and functional expertise in related modules.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop new reports and troubleshoot existing ones within the Group Reporting module.
- Accounting Knowledge: Basic knowledge of HGB (Germany's commercial code and accounting standards).
- Support Expertise: Experience with Level 2 & 3 support processes and understanding of ITIL frameworks.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business users, and IT professionals.
- Languages: Fluent in English (required), with knowledge of German and/or Polish being a plus.
