Drive Strategic Compensation at Bauer Media Group 

 

Are you ready to shape the future of Total Rewards across a dynamic, international media organization? Join our newly formed Centre of Excellence for Total Rewards & Performance Management and lead the development of scalable, global compensation frameworks that support our transformation journey. 

As Senior Manager Total Rewards, you’ll manage a team of experts and collaborate with stakeholders across 14 European countries to design and implement competitive, benchmark-based compensation and benefits strategies. 

 

 

Your Role 

  • Develop and evolve Bauer’s global compensation strategy and structures. 
  • Lead the annual remuneration cycle (STI evaluation, salary increases). 
  • Implement and optimize digital tools (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors Compensation). 
  • Conduct market benchmarks and provide strategic recommendations. 
  • Ensure compliance with EU Pay Transparency 2026 requirements. 
  • Collaborate with Finance on personnel cost budgeting and salary planning. 
  • Enable HR and business leaders with guidelines and tools for better decision-making. 
  • Lead and develop a team of three Total Rewards professionals. 

 

Your Profile 

  • Extensive experience in compensation & benefits within international matrix organizations. 
  • Proven success in leading global C&B initiatives and transformation projects. 
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus. 
  • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field. 
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP SuccessFactors.
