You’ll join our Procurement Excellence Team, a small but impactful group of experts driving innovation, digitalisation and professionalising procurement across Bauer Media Group. We work closely with procurement colleagues in Germany, the UK, and Poland, driving projects that truly make a difference. Our mission? The Difference You Will Make 

This is your chance to build sustainability in procurement from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in developing frameworks, tools, and initiatives that reduce Scope 3 emissions and strengthen ESG compliance. Backed by leadership support and working closely with Group Sustainability and Compliance, you’ll influence how Bauer operates responsibly across its supply chain. If you’re passionate about sustainability and want to make a tangible impact, this is the role for you. 

Deine Rolle 

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem: 

• Umsetzung von ESG-Vorgaben (LKSG, CSRD, EU-Standards) in praxisnahe Einkaufsrichtlinien 
• Durchführung von Lieferantenbewertungen und Menschenrechts-Due-Diligence 
• Unterstützung in der Transparenzschaffung und Reduktion von Scope-3-Emissionen 
• Leitung von Nachhaltigkeitsprojekten und interdisziplinären Arbeitsgruppen 
• Schulung von Einkaufsteams zur Integration von Nachhaltigkeitskriterien 
• Identifizierung innovativer Lösungen für nachhaltigen Einkauf (z. B. 
• Kreislaufwirtschaft, CO₂-arme Materialien) 

Your Role 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Translating ESG regulations (LKSG, CSRD, EU standards) into practical procurement guidelines 
• Driving supplier sustainability assessments and human rights due diligence 
• Supporting Scope 3 emissions transparency and reduction initiatives 
• Leading sustainability-related projects and cross-functional working groups 
• Training procurement teams to integrate sustainability into sourcing strategies 
• Identifying innovative solutions for sustainable procurement (e.g., circularity, low-carbon materials)
