Team Leader Accounts Receivable/Payable Analyst (m/f/d)

Now we’re looking for a Team Leader (m/f/d) Accounts Receivable & Payable to lead a dynamic team at the heart of our finance transformation.

Your Role:
As Team Leader for AR/AP, you’ll lead two dedicated teams (10 colleagues in total), driving operational excellence across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle. With the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the rollout of our global finance processes, you’ll be instrumental in shaping a forward-thinking, efficient Transaction Processing function for our Hamburg hub.

Your Responsibilities:  

• Lead, support and develop a high-performing AR/AP team
• Ensure smooth daily operations for both publishing and group entities
• Manage month- and year-end close processes
• Introduce and optimize transaction process policies
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in all financial processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, and audit standards
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and learning

Your Profile:  

• Exstensive experience in finance, with deep knowledge of transaction processing
• Strong leadership background, ideally with change management experience
• A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field – a Master’s is a plus
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA and confident Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills
