We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Total Rewards Specialist to join our Group Human Resources team at our headquarters in Hamburg. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of global total rewards strategies across a dynamic, international media organization. 

 

About the Role 

As a member of the Total Rewards team, you will report directly to the Senior Manager Total Rewards and support the design, execution, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs. Your work will include data analysis, compensation benchmarking, and the support of HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors. You will collaborate with colleagues across Bauer’s 14 international locations, including Germany, the United Kingdom, and Poland. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Total Rewards programs and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Perform compensation analysis including grading, benchmarking, internal equity assessments, and market competitiveness reviews
  • Provide high-quality analytics and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI/Tableau to support data-driven decision making
  • Contribute to annual labour cost planning and salary review processes
  • Assist in the management and development of the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Employee Central modules
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations across all compensation and benefits initiatives 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits or a related HR function within a multinational and ideally matrix-structured organization
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and macros) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (BSc or MSc)
  • Fluency in English (working proficiency) is required; additional languages, particularly German, are advantageous
