About The Role  

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Imaging Producer, to shape the sound of Ireland’s biggest commercial radio stations and podcasts at Bauer Media Audio Ireland.  

 

The chosen candidate will be responsible for imaging, sound, station promotion & development, as well as implementation of Sponsorship and Promotional audio as required.     

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Create and produce station imaging. Taking responsibility for station sound and imaging output on Newstalk, Off The Ball & GoLoud, as well as other brands within the Bauer audio portfolio. 
  • Interpret creative briefs and generate great audio ideas  
  • Work with cross discipline teams e.g. programming, marketing, sales, promotions, digital to execute compelling audio campaigns 
  • Manage the station VOs to deliver a consistent and relevant sound. 
  • Script, produce & deliver all required Sponsorship & Promotional elements under tight deadlines. 
  • Schedule Station Imaging for on air broadcast in RCS, ensuring the correct placement and rotation of all items in the daily log. 
  • Ensure the station output conforms to all BAI regulations and requirements. 
  • Keep detailed records of all music used and submit monthly returns to IMRO. 
  • Assist the senior editorial team in managing the development of all production/ on air / digital audio elements, ensuring the potential of all content is fully realised and utilised. 
  • Work creatively with the Commercial Programmer to deliver market-leading commercial solutions to help maximise promotion and sponsorship opportunities and revenue. 
  • Manage the workflow between programming, sales and S&P under the station’s Imaging and Commercial Production requirements 
  • Develop plans to successfully deliver station campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Use your initiative to ensure new ideas are constantly developed and implemented, while refreshing and maintaining the vitality of the already high standard of our audio output. 
  • Continue the evolution the sonic position and image of the stations, ensuring that it stands out from other radio brands and emphasises stations point of difference in the market 
  • Ensure all shows sound sonically excellent, while delivering a premium product to our sales teams, and in turn, our clients.

  • You stay current with audio production trends and technology to keep sound fresh and competitive. 
  • You have a thorough knowledge of radio production techniques, and their use in a range of output, including online. 
  • You have a strong interest in and knowledge of news and current affairs. 
  • You possess sound editorial skills and the ability to write concisely and creatively - for programme briefs and scripts – while understanding the difference between writing for different audiences and brands. 
  • You work well and flexibly within a busy team, contributing and sharing ideas and knowledge as well as the ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.

  • Extensive knowledge of Pro Tools and Adobe Audition. 
  • Experience of working with G Selector and Zetta.
