The Focus of the Role:


The Affiliate Partnerships Executive will play a key part in driving increased revenue and profitability from our affiliate content and partnerships via the selling of branded content solutions. You will develop a strong knowledge of the Bauer portfolio and a level of trust that indicates you have the brands best interests at heart.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To work closely with the Affiliate Business Development Manager and the wider Commerce Content team to achieve and surpass monthly revenue goals.
  • Working with internal stakeholders, external merchants, affiliate networks, and agencies to pitch, win, and execute innovative branded affiliate sales solutions.
  • Supporting with merchant and affiliate network relationship management, this will include developing new monetisation opportunities, and ensuring internal stake holders are kept informed of affiliate developments.
  • From time to time, you will be working closely with the wider Affiliate Commerce team on negotiating improved commercial terms.
  • Supporting and developing 3rd party affiliate tech partnerships. You will ensure that internal stake holders are kept informed of partnership developments and involved in their delivery as necessary.
  • Develop best in class sales relationships with your merchant, network and agency contacts, matching client needs with the relevant Bauer brand. Ensuring external partners understand our propositions, their brand power and global reach.
  • Actively manage the sales process from end to end working closely with your clients and the project manager to secure a successful campaign delivery and achieving mutually agreed goals.
  • Following up completed activities with post campaign analysis and exploring new monetisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure visibility on all external partner activity compliments advertising activities. Sharing insight and commercial leads as necessary.
  • Work in step with commercial teams in important niche markets where direct client relationships are already established. Helping with sales pitches and the delivery of best practice.
  • Play an active role in securing exposure for your partners in editorial features and in newsletters and social media channels.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, eCommerce strategies, and the evolving digital marketing landscape.
  • Develop exceptional editorial relationships that support the wider business goals. Assist the editorial team during peak periods such as Black Friday and Prime Day.


What You'll Bring:


  • Ideal - Experience selling and closing innovative branded content solutions.
  • Ideal - Client management skills, experience working with brands and affiliate networks.
  • Demonstrable success in using initiative as part of the sales/client development process. 
  • Excellent digital knowledge and understanding of the affiliate space.
  • Expertise in relationship management and digital revenue models.
  • Excellent communication skills and high organisational proficiency, you will have a skill for prioritising diverse tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • A result driven mindset focused and demonstrable success.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, capability to thrive under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Team player who always has a view to how they can contribute to and support the broader business strategies.
  • An adaptable relationship style and a collaborative, inclusive way of working.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint for report interpretation, graph and table creation, and presentation formatting and design
