We are looking for An Audio Account Director to join our Advertising Team in London


Every member of the Bauer Media advertising team from sales through to production is focused on delivering a class leading, seamless experience for our customers across every touchpoint. 


It’s the Audio Account Director’s responsibility to help our key media agency partners navigate and buy into our market leading portfolio of audio brands and audiences.  


Focused on the Omnicom territory the main purpose of the role is to drive revenues by selling creative solutions to briefs received and proactively pitching opportunities where relevant. There is responsibility on effective airtime trading looking to influence spend outside of the trading deal parameters and upselling and increasing our digital audio revenues via Octave. The Audio Account Director will be required to build Bauer’s external reputation by ensuring that we are seen as a dynamic, collaborative, respected partner.




The Team


The Audio Account Director reports to the Audio Group Head.  They work closely with the Client Lead(s), and Creative Strategist(s) aligned to the hub to ensure the Customer Strategies and Adventure Process are implemented effectively in relation to audio. The Audio Account Director will be part of a collaborative and cohesive team working in a fun & thriving environment.




What we're looking for


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with media agencies, proven sales skills & a deep understanding of the audio market, including that of Bauer’s audio portfolio. Experience on working on a variety of S&P deals and an understanding of our creative process would be favoured.


This role requires excellent communication & collaboration, an ability to build relationships with key agency contacts & able to work in a fast paced environment across a variety of projects. We are looking for a real team player, with a positive attitude to their work.  



Success criteria:




  • Achieve objectives set by Audio Group Head/Group Business Director


Team development and collaboration

  • Assist the Audio Group Head with the support and development of the radio planners on the Omnicom team
  • Demonstrable collaborative behaviours with Client Lead(s) and Creative Strategist(s).



  • Achieve the department revenue target, S&P and audio targets
  • Deliver market beating share of airtime spend for territory



  • Drive year on year improvement in brand count, campaign count, revenue and conversion rate for S&P
  • Retain key S&P partners – Drive repeat business
  • New business wins in the S&P space
  • Win proactive S&P pitches



Customer Strategies

  • Achieve team and audio objectives outlined in the Omnicom Customer Strategies
  • Deliver quality and consistency of engagement with key personnel outlined in Customer Strategies – blue to red on agreed primary and secondary contacts.
  • Demonstrable full and consistent use of CRM across the hub
