Beauty Assistant
The focus of your role:
This role will support the busy Grazia beauty team to ensure that they are well positioned to continue producing beauty content across print, digital and social that delivers the brand objectives and key results.
The successful candidate will be organised, resourceful, and a self-starter, with good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calling in products to shoot and high-res images for shopping and shoot pages in print.
- Managing the beauty team diary – ensuring events are tracked.
- Liaising with the video producer and social media editor role to support on the production of beauty team social video – eg, setting up props, calling in product.
- Appear in beauty social content where relevant.
- Liaising with marketing team to support beauty club events and newsletter production.
- Building articles on the site for the team, where relevant.
- Work with the beauty director to develop writing skills – in time being able to write evergreen beauty articles for the website.
- Creating shopping edits for beauty news and features copy across print and digital.
- Support the Beauty Director with regular print pages/ digital franchises – e.g. beauty basket and what’s new this month.
- Assist wider beauty team with picture research and call-ins for beauty pages across the magazine.
- Act as an external ambassador at key advertiser and seasonal events – e.g. beauty book launch.
- Appear in commercial partnerships.
- Manage the beauty cupboard - organising product and maintaining order throughout the week.
What you'll bring:
- A passion for beauty
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience writing digital content and appearing in front of the camera for social content is a benefit but not required.
