Commercial Content Executive - Podcasts
About the team:
The Commercial Content team is a core part of Bauer Media Advertising’s creative partnerships offering, creating innovative and exciting branded content that drives revenue across our portfolio of brands, including radio, podcasts, publishing, digital and social channels.
Your role:
Host Read Production & Delivery
- Work with the Ad Operations team and Commercial Content Lead- Podcasts to develop an efficient end-to-end host read & host read ad process
- Liaise with podcast talent/ agents to ensure brand suitability and approvals
- Write compelling host read & host read ad scripts that reflect each podcast host’s tone and style while meeting client objectives
- Amend scripts in response to client feedback where required
- Coordinate and oversee host read & host read ad recordings with talent and podcast production teams
- Edit and prepare host reads & host read ads for inclusion in audio and Video
- Work closely with Ad Opps to ensure all projects are delivered accurately and on schedule
Commercial & Creative Collaboration
- Drive revenue opportunities by establishing a trusted, high-quality host read offering that commercial teams actively want to sell
- Support the Commercial Content Lead – Podcasts in developing creative branded content solutions for incoming briefs
- Build strong working relationships with the Podcast team: The Chief Content Officer, Executive Producers, and wider production teams
- Develop excellent relationships with Bauer Media Advertising commercial teams, building a reputation for delivering creative, effective branded content solutions clients want to buy
- Attend and contribute to podcast and multi-platform brainstorms, representing podcast commercial opportunities

- Maintain a strong understanding of Bauer Media’s podcast portfolio, branded content trends, and commercial opportunities within the audio space
Your skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
- A solid understanding of what makes effective, high-quality branded content in audio and podcasting
- Experience developing or improving internal production workflows and processes
- Strong writing ability
- Competency with Adobe CC – Audition and Premier Pro
- An ear for tone of voice and authentic storytelling
