You will be joining The Central Audio Communications Team who lead the communications strategy for our audio business across nine European markets. We help Bauer Media Audio speak with a clear, consistent voice internally and externally, supporting the growth of our audio brands, products and people. 

 

We shape communications around major strategic moments such as Audio PULSE (our company-wide strategic update), Audio LIVE (our celebration of audio creativity and innovation) and leadership offsites. We also support leadership communications, partnerships, content launches and key developments across the business.

As a Communications Apprentice you’ll build a broad skillset that supports a future career in media, communications, PR or the wider creative industries – with the chance to learn from experienced teams working across multiple European markets. You’ll get practical, hands-on experience with: 

  • Writing and editing for different audiences and channels
  • Content creation and publishing (including visual and social content)
  • Event and project support for major internal and industry moments
  • Leadership and corporate communications in a fast-moving media business 

 

Your role 

  • Contributing ideas to improve engagement across internal channels
  • Coordinate communications projects across our European markets
  • Create and maintain targeted media lists
  • Draft and publish content for our corporate social channels
  • Help identify relevant influencers, journalists and media partners
  • Assist with campaign development
  • Capture and organise visual content (photos, videos, graphics)
  • Assist with logistics, diary coordination and room/equipment bookings
  • Maintain trackers and KPI dashboards for campaigns, internal updates and media coverage
  • Prepare briefing packs, agendas and support with proofing communications 

 

 

The Skills you will bring 

  • A strong written communicator, with an eye for detail
  • Interested in media, communications and the wider creative industries
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable managing several tasks at once
  • Curious, creative and confident exploring digital tools 

 

Experience of or comfortable learning the below Technologies: 

  • Microsoft Office
  • Viva Engage and SharePoint
  • Canva, Clipchamp, Adobe Express
  • AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot 

 

 

Working Pattern/Location 

This is fulltime role, on a 18 month fixed term contract that matches the length of the appprenticeship course including end point assessment. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexibility. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London (5 minutes walk from Euston Station) 

 

 

Expected Process
