The Quality Assurance team is dedicated to improving the quality, commercial viability, and search engine performance of Bauer's online content. By working in close partnership with the SEO, Content Commerce, and editorial teams, our goal is to apply best practices throughout the editorial, commercial, and production processes. The QA team is crucial in upholding high content standards and facilitating the smooth execution of editorial, operational, and SEO strategies. Additionally, we focus on refining daily operations to efficiently meet business goals, ultimately aiming to establish new benchmarks in digital content quality and effectiveness.

 

The focus of your role:

As a Content Optimization Executive, you'll be part of a critical step for our published content, ensuring it meets our stringent standards across all fronts.

 

In this collaborative role, you will work hand-in-hand with our SEO, Content Commerce, and brand editorial teams to uphold and implement best practices in editorial, commercial, and production aspects. Your contributions will be essential for the seamless operation of our editorial, operational and SEO initiatives, offering valuable input and support that fosters the continuous enhancement of our content.

 

Furthermore, your efforts will support the Head of Operations in optimising our day-to-day activities, ensuring they align with our business objectives efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of content interlinking for pivotal articles, including:
    • Verification and modification of content links.
    • Optimisation of link quantity per page.
    • Enhancement of content according to the latest standards, such as SEO.
    • Ensure the content layout adheres to industry best practices.
    • Organise content strategies using Monday.com and assist the SEO team.
    • Apply SEO best practices, including verification of image alt text and metadata descriptions.
    • Optimise commercial links to ensure cleanliness and affiliation, particularly with high-performing merchants.

 

  • Support Operational Tasks:
    • Assisting with product development, such as feature updates, bug fixes, regular tasks, and testing.
    • Assist various departments (e.g., Editorial, Commercial) with database and admin tasks.
    • Offer operational assistance for ongoing and upcoming projects as needed.

 

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships:
    • Foster relationships within and outside the organisation to ensure efficient operation of key groups.

 

What you will bring:

 

Desired Skills:

  • Driven by a keen interest in digital media and affiliate marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO principles
  • Proficient communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional at creating and maintaining documentation
  • Proactive team player with a knack for giving constructive feedback
  • Experienced with WordPress
  • Basic knowledge of website architecture
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Monday.com
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating across various levels
  • Preferably experienced in graphic editing software
  • Preferably knowledgeable in major analytics tools, including Google Analytics
