Copywriter, Rayo


Rayo Copywriter : FTC – 12 months


We are looking for a Copywriter to join Rayo, Bauer’s multi-brand audio platform, in our brand-new office in London on a 12-month basis.

In this exciting new role, you will own and develop the written Rayo style. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will produce a range of compelling copy from marketing collateral and web articles to product and app store copy.

Rayo, which launched in June of this year, is the new audio platform from Bauer Media Audio UK that offers audiences one service to listen to more than 50 stations, hundreds of curated playlists and a range of on-demand content.

This is a hybrid role, working between home and one of our offices in London, Manchester or Peterborough on a 12-month fixed-term contract.


What you’ll be doing                 

  • Maintaining and evolving Rayo's brand voice by updating and enforcing a style guide for consistent writing across all materials.
  • Creating persuasive marketing copy for ads, brochures, flyers, and online content, ensuring alignment with the brand voice and effective communication to the target audience.
  • Coping for regular brand and Rayo promotional emails and notifications
  • Collaborating with the UX team to create clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for the app interface
  • Writing titles for Content Collections and Campaigns in the App
  • Creating and managing promotional Copy for iOS, Android, Amazon, etc. Stores:
  • Create and update a comprehensive FAQ section to address common user queries and issues
  • Writing promotional articles to support the campaigns on an ongoing basis as to reflect the ever-changing content available in the app


What we’re looking for

  • A passion for digital audio and radio. Copywriting experience within these areas would be an advantage.
  • Experience producing various types of brand copy outlined above, tailored to different audience groups
  • A collaborative and positive mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - articulate with written and spoken word and strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of digital platforms and paid digital campaigns
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques and principles
