Customer Support Executive

The Customer Support Executive plays a pivotal role in Bauer Media's Audio team. The primary purpose of this role is to act as the first point of contact for all listener inquiries across our radio platforms, ensuring high-quality engagement and delivering exceptional customer service across radio inboxes, competitions, premium services, and digital channels.

 

Your role:

  • Provide frontline customer support via email, live chat, and phone.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently while adapting to shifting priorities throughout the day.
  • Communicate with customers in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner to ensure a seamless support experience.
  • Identify recurring issues and customer feedback trends, escalating them appropriately.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Create and manage technical support tickets in JIRA.
  • Contribute to process improvements and participate in team initiatives.
  • Support the evolution of the customer service function into a strategic driver of revenue, retention, and competitive advantage by identifying opportunities that positively impact customer value and business performance.

 

The Skills you will bring: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service, support, or customer-facing role (professional, retail, hospitality, or call-centre experience welcomed).
  • Hands-on experience with helpdesk and ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, or similar platforms.
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to ask effective questions and demonstrate empathy.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to take initiative and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to changing priorities.
