D&I Partner

We are looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Partner to join Bauer Media UK.

As our Diversity and Inclusion Partner, you’ll shape a culture where everyone belongs—championing bold ideas, amplifying underrepresented voices, and turning ambition into action.

From influencing leaders to empowering grassroots initiatives, you’ll help make Bauer a destination for diverse talent and inclusive creativity.

Our Team

You’ll be part of our Audio People & Culture Team, working closely and in partnership with our UK Publishing People team. Together you'll drive a joined-up approach that supports both the Audio and Publishing UK business. While you’ll collaborate widely across the UK businesses, this team will be your home base, united by a shared belief that our people are our greatest asset. We work collaboratively, support one another, and take pride in creating a positive, people-first culture every day.

What you will do

Drive Strategic Impact - Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring our Belonging at Bauer commitments are deeply embedded in decision-making, leadership behaviours, and business priorities.

Strengthen and Scale What Works - Evolve and amplify our established D&I pillars, identifying what’s delivering impact and where we can go further. They will ensure our approach is dynamic, focused, and responsive to the needs of our people.

Lead with Insight - Use high-quality data and anecdotal feedback to generate meaningful insights. Translate these into clear priorities, recommendations, and actions that lead to tangible change and enhances diversity and inclusion at Bauer.

Create Shared Accountability - Develop and embed governance frameworks that hold leaders and teams to account on their D&I ambitions linking goals, actions, and results in a way that drives momentum and maintains integrity.

Partner for Inclusion - Collaborate closely with Audio and Publishing HR, the D&I Forums, other employee networks and individual teams across the UK organisation to foster a culture where inclusion is everyone’s business and belonging is a daily reality.

Champion an Inclusive Brand - Shape and influence our employer brand so that we’re recognised as an inclusive, values-driven destination for diverse talent across the UK media landscape.

Innovate and Influence – Bring creative thinking and industry insight to the table, staying ahead of emerging trends and ensuring Bauer remains bold, progressive and inclusive.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in leading or driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies at a senior or strategic level, ideally within a creative, media, or fast-paced multi-brand organisation.
  • Confident working with senior leaders, coaching with credibility, and holding people to account in a collaborative way.
  • Oriented mindset, you know how to shape the big picture strategy, and how to make it happen on the ground.
  • Able to interpret, interrogate and translate D&I data into compelling stories, clear priorities, and meaningful action.
  • A good working knowledge of UK employment law and how it applies to diversity, equity, inclusion and workplace culture.
  • Experience working with employee networks or D&I forums, and a talent for empowering others while balancing commercial needs

It’d be great if you also have

  • Familiarity with D&I frameworks, charters or accreditation schemes (e.g. Stonewall, Disability Confident etc.)
  • Experience working with or influencing employer branding, recruitment marketing, or external communications related to D&I
  • Knowledge of current legislation, compliance and reporting (e.g. gender/ethnicity pay gap, Ofcom, PPA)
