Director of Measurement, Bauer Media Audio

Pioneer and shape a unified approach to audio measurement 


We are seeking a Director of Measurement to oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and optimisation of audio measurement systems across all nine territories.  Sitting at the heart of our newly established Risk, Responsibilities & Resilience (RRR) function, this role will define and implement a cohesive, group-wide measurement strategy, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and innovation across all nine territories. 


As a strategic leader, you will work across teams and markets to align disparate measurement practices into a unified framework, equipping the business with the tools, insights, and methodologies needed to drive growth and industry leadership. You will also play a key role in representing our organisation in regulatory and industry forums, shaping the future of audio and cross- media analytics. 

 

Your Mission 

  • Lead the transformation of audio measurement by developing a group-wide strategy. 
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across all markets, embedding best-in-class measurement systems. 
  • Drive innovation in audience and commercial measurement, integrating new tools, methodologies, and technologies. 
  • Collaborate across disciplines—marketing, research, data, legal and commercial teams—to provide actionable insights. 
  • Represent the company externally, advocating for advancements in industry-wide measurement standards. 

 

What You Bring

  • Proven expertise in media measurement, particularly within audio (radio, streaming, podcasts). 
  • Visionary and innovative mindset, with the ability to transform fragmented approaches into a unified strategy. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of audience engagement and commercial performance. 
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership, influencing and guiding key stakeholders without direct people management. 
  • Outstanding communication and advocacy skills, simplifying complex concepts and representing the company externally.
