You’ll be joining Bauer Media Audio’s Marketing Team, based at The Lantern in London. We’re a creative, collaborative group working across some of the UK’s most iconic radio brands—Magic Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, KISS, Absolute Radio, and Hits Radio—as well as podcasts, social video, commercial events, and our listening app, Rayo.
You’ll lead the newly formed Design Hub, a team of talented designers and video producers, working closely with brand marketing, podcast, social/video, and commercial events teams. Together, we deliver bold, engaging creative that connects with millions of listeners and viewers.
The difference you will make
As Head of Design & Delivery, you’ll oversee the end-to-end creative process and workflow across design and video projects. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage production pipelines, and align creative execution with business objectives.
You’ll be responsible for establishing team culture, scalable processes, and efficient ways of working. You’ll also take on senior creative projects—particularly in podcasting—ensuring best-in-class output across campaigns and content. Your leadership will help shape the future of creative delivery at Bauer Media Audio.
Your role
You’ll lead the Design Hub and manage creative delivery across multiple platforms and teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as key liaison between Design and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead the design team and provide art direction as needed
- Manage a motion graphic designer and deliver brand video projects
- Oversee production timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Implement scalable workflows using Monday.com
- Troubleshoot production challenges while maintaining creative integrity
- Provide guidance and development opportunities for the team
- Maintain a database of freelancers and manage freelance budgets
- Foster a team culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement
The skills you will bring:
Essential:
- Proven experience in creative leadership and production management
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Experience managing video animation and motion graphics projects
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a creative team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly creative with a strategic mindset
- Deep understanding of composition, colour science, and design trends
- Passion for music, entertainment, podcasts, and Bauer brands
Desirable:
- Experience using AI platforms and Monday.com
- Budget management experience
Experience:
- Experience managing a creative team in media, audio, radio, entertainment, or digital industries
- Proven track record delivering creative projects in fast-paced environments
Working Pattern/Location
Full-time, permanent
Hybrid at The Lantern, London (minimum 2 days per week)
