Insights Executive - Consumer Competitions
Job purpose:
Bauer Media Audio are on a mission to make our listeners’ world sound better. This is a new role to strengthen the insight capabilities of Bauer Media Audio’s UK Consumer Competitions.
You will be responsible for leading research projects to support decision-making across our competitions portfolio. You will play a key role in delivering actionable insights through quantitative and qualitative research, analysing competition trends, and understanding consumer behaviour. Your findings will help shape product and marketing strategies to drive customer engagement. This role will also work closely with wider teams such as Commercial, Editorial and Data.
About the team:
We are Enterprise – the driving force behind non-traditional commercial operations for Bauer Media's Audio & Publishing divisions. Win Happy, home to the Rayo network cash competitions, is at the heart of our consumer prize draws. Our portfolio includes premium-rate SMS competitions like ‘Cash Register’ and ‘Make Me A Winner’; online transactional businesses such as ‘Planet Offers’; dating sites including ‘Coupling Up’ and ‘Magic Dating’; gaming partnerships like ‘Bella Casino’ and ‘Planet Rock Casino’; and ticketing platforms like ‘Aloud.com’ and ‘The Absolute Radio Ticket Store’.
Key Responsibilties:

Design and manage consumer surveys, focus groups, and competitor analysis to support business decision-making.

Lead and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects to gather data on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitors' strategies. You may be solely or jointly responsible for these projects.

Assist in the creation and management of consumer panels for ongoing research projects – from panel management to monitoring & driving retention rates.

Provide clear recommendations on how Bauer can continue to differentiate itself in the competitive landscape and execute its strategy

Support the reporting of key metrics and gather market trends on competition and consumer behaviour.

Analyse and interpret research data, providing clear, actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Leverage research findings to identify potential business opportunities, market gaps, and emerging trends.

Work with analysts to marry internal data sets, tell a story and bring the data to life.

Partner with cross-functional teams such as marketing, content, and product to integrate research insights into business strategies.
