About the Team 

Join the newly formed Bauer Media Audio (BMA) Social Video Marketing team. We work collaboratively to grow our brands and connect with audiences through innovative campaigns. You’ll be part of a creative, fast-paced environment that values data-driven decisions and fresh ideas working across some of the UK’s most iconic radio brand social video accounts including Magic Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, Hits Radio, KISS, Absolute Radio—as well as podcasts, commercial events, and our listening app, Rayo. You'll work alongside Creative Leads and internal stakeholders from the social video, brand marketing, podcast and commercial events teams.  

 

About the Role 

We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager - Google Ads & YouTube specialist to lead paid social advertising strategies and delivery. You will leverage paid advertising on Google Ads & YouTube to amplify the impact of organic content and brand marketing teams in achieving their business objectives.  

You’ll plan and execute campaigns, optimise performance, and ensure budgets deliver maximum ROI. This role blends creativity, analytics, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced media environment.  

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate with social video and brand teams to select content for paid promotion.
  • Recommend and review strategic approach across Google Ads & YouTube for a variety of objectives. 
  • Manage ad accounts and key relationships with Google Ads & YouTube.  
  • Research audiences, define paid content pillars, and stay on top of latest trends.
  • Monitor performance, analyse data, and adjust campaigns in real time for best results.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights for future strategies.
  • Present reports to key stakeholders.  

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Strong background in paid media management for Google Ads & YouTube.
  • Proven success in creating and executing paid media strategies on Google Ads & YouTube. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads & YouTube advertising best practices.
  • Highly organised with strong time management.  
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong team player and communicator. 
  • Desirable, experience of using Sprout Social and Brandwatch platforms.
