You’ll be joining our ambitious and growing digital audio team at Bauer Media Group, working within audioXi – a dynamic part of our business that’s shaping the future of audio advertising. Our team is made up of talented, creative individuals who are passionate about podcasts and digital audio. We collaborate across departments and brands to deliver innovative advertising solutions and support the growth of our podcast network, which includes over 1,000 shows and reaches millions of listeners every month.
The Difference you will make
As Podcast Account Director, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue and expanding our podcast advertising offering. You’ll work closely with the Podcast Lead to promote existing shows and launch new ones, while managing your own active sales pipeline. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a hands-on contributor in a fast-scaling area of Bauer Media, helping shape the future of podcast advertising.You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with agencies, pitching creative sponsorship opportunities, and ensuring campaigns are successfully activated. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of our podcast network.
Your role
You will lead the sales efforts for podcast sponsorships, working with agencies and internal teams to deliver compelling campaigns.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Owning the sales pipeline for all podcast sponsorship opportunities.
- Managing a specific patch of agencies to generate briefs and drive revenue.
- Using internal systems to build prospecting lists of clients.
- Pitching, briefing, educating, and activating podcast sponsorship campaigns.
- Developing deep knowledge of all shows within the audioXi podcast portfolio.
- Collaborating with internal teams to build podcast-specific briefs and narratives.

- Strong knowledge of the podcast and digital audio market.
- Established relationships with key stakeholders at major agency groups.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident presenter with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Proven track record of meeting quarterly sales targets.
Working Pattern/Location
Hybrid role – based in our London office with flexibility to work from home.
