Production Coordinator
Are you ready to be at the heart of Bauer Media’s vibrant and creative Social Video Hub? As a Production Coordinator, you’ll join a collaborative team of social and video experts, leading the way in trend-setting content creation and social media innovation. Working alongside the Director and Heads of Video, you’ll play a vital role in prioritising shoots, edits, and content creation while ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. From pre-production to post-production and final delivery, you’ll manage workflows with precision, enabling the team to deliver high-quality, engaging, and successful social video content that drives brand fame, engagement, and growth.
Purpose of the role – being at the heart of Bauer’s Video production, handling multiple responsibilities and ensuring the smooth operation of the production process, you will be a integral member of our team. You’ll assist the Director and Heads of Video with prioritising shoots, edits and content creation. And will support video production workflow management from pre to postproduction to delivery ensuring a smooth and efficient journey that delivers high quality successful results.
Key Responsibilities
- Triaging video requests as they come in via Monday.com and feeding back to Director and Heads of Video in order of priority.
- Implementing planning meetings to prioritise shoots, edits and content creation
- Manage the allocation of Lantern studio space/video resource and kit with support from Director and Heads of Video
- Manage video production workflow management from pre to postproduction and delivery to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow that delivers high quality successful results
- Responsible for Video teams adopting and best use of workflow and kit booking systems to drive collaboration, efficiency and accountability (Monday.com, Frame.io and Cheqroom.com)
- Act as guardian of video kit, ensuring it is up to date and in working order
- Pre-production planning, booking locations, coordinating travel, booking kit, creating and distributing production call sheets
- Managing production paperwork and admin, which will include processing crew and kit invoices, location permits, risk assessments, insurance forms and release forms.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant work experience gained working as a production coordinator in media/broadcast/entertainment
- Evidence of practical experience, insight and knowledge gained from work placements in video production, Television and/or live events
- A degree in film studies, communication, business or a related field is desired but not essential
- A good understanding of video production and producing video for social media
- Up to date knowledge of the social media landscape
