Senior Social Media Producer, Podcasts
We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Producer to join our Bauer team in London.
If you live and breathe social content, love collaborating across teams, and can come up with creative and out of the box ideas, then we want to work alongside you! As a Senior Social Media Producer, you will be responsible for planning and producing engaging digital content for Bauer’s podcast portfolio, so an interested in entertainment, lifestyle and sports is needed.
Reporting to the Social Lead, you’ll be responsible for forward planning, content creation, working on our podcast shoots, looking after our content calendar and posting on our social platforms. This role will also be expected to lead social campaigns from start to finish, advise junior team members, and deputise for the Social Lead on occasion.
This is a hands-on production role where you'll be as involved in capturing and editing content as you are in planning and producing it. We need someone who can take an idea and bring it to life independently. You should be confident, proactive, and full of fresh ideas, with the ability to build strong working relationships with both our talent and the wider Podcast team
This will be a hybrid position where you will work from home and our office in London.
What you’ll be doing…
Working closely with Social Media lead to plan content and help with day-to-day running of social accounts and deputise for them on occasion.
Working across all of the podcast social channels, leading on specific projects and podcasts, and advising the team on wider campaigns.
Monitoring and analysing social media trends, audience behaviours, and platform updates to keep our social media presence current and effective.
Examining existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that can innovate and improve our social media output
Collaborating across Bauer network, working with the wider team on larger initiatives and projects
Assisting on podcast shoots and content days – including music events, presenter shoots and high-profile guest interviews.
Managing social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
Mentoring and guiding other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Work out of hours when necessary, particularly during key events or live broadcasts, to capture and share timely content.
What you’ll bring
An experienced social media professional with a track record of producing content that is optimised for different social platforms.
Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and experience in planning and scheduling content across them.
Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
Confident in presenting ideas and approaching challenges with a positive attitude.
Proactive, collaborative, and organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to design social thumbnails and graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
Confident social copywriter who can write in a variety of tones of voice
Creative thinking, and ability to quickly adapt to changing trends and audience needs.
Experience working with analytics tools to track performance and inform content decisions.
Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile, as well as confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members where necessary; and editing this content on Adobe Premier Pro
Proactivity and project management skills – we’re looking for someone who is organised, can meet deadlines and lead on multiple social campaigns at once.
A passion for music, entertainment, podcasts and our brands.
Flexibility to work out of hours occasionally – understanding that social media is reactive and time-sensitive.
Leadership skills, and an ability to lead teams while on shoots
