Social Amplification Manager (12 month FTC)

Our Team: How we enrich everyday life:
You’ll be joining Bauer Media Audio’s Social Video Hub - a collaborative, fast‑moving and creative team focused on amplifying the reach and cultural impact of Bauer’s audio and video content. For this 12 month FTC, you’ll work closely with social, content, PR and brand teams to ensure our radio brands cut through and stay culturally relevant.

 

The Difference You Will Make:
As Social Amplification Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing the fame, reach and engagement of Bauer’s audio brands across social platforms. You will amplify our most powerful content, identify opportunities to reach new audiences, and ensure our brands remain influential in cultural conversations. This role will work across Hits Radio, KISS, KISS Xtra, Greatest Hits Radio, Magic Radio, Absolute Radio, Absolute Radio Country, Planet Rock & Kerrang.

 

Your Role:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Amplify Bauer Audio’s social and video content across platforms.
- Work with Social Video, content and brand teams to optimise content for shareability.
- Identify creative amplification opportunities aligned with brand tone and goals.
- Pitch content to entertainment, lifestyle and music press.
- Maintain and grow journalist and influencer networks.
- Collaborate with PR and internal comms to align messaging.
- Build relationships with fan communities and online tastemakers.
- Develop strategies to turn fans into advocates.
- Identify and coordinate partnership opportunities.
- Use social listening tools to analyse trends, sentiment and competitor activity.
- Deliver insight‑driven recommendations for content and brand strategy.
- Report regularly on amplification performance and growth opportunities.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in social amplification, digital PR or audience growth (ideally in media, entertainment or music).
- Track record of amplifying digital content across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, algorithms and audience behaviour.
- Existing press contacts and experience earning media coverage.
- Experience working with fan communities.
- Skilled in social listening tools (Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Meltwater, CrowdTangle).
- Deep understanding of pop culture, music and entertainment
- Creative, strategic and trend‑aware.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced, reactive environment.

 

Working Pattern / Location:
Hybrid, based in our London office.
