Social Media Assistant, Grazia
Grazia is looking for a Social Media Assistant. Reporting into our Social Media Editor,you would be responsible for supporting her and Grazia’s Digital Director in posting and creating content and video, across all of of our social media channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok. This is an entry level role, perfect for someone wanting to kick start their digital career.
You should be up to date with everything happening on social, with a particular interest in social video content, and able to work closely with SME to produce and edit timely and on-brand social video for Instagram and TikTok. You will also be bursting with ideas on how to do everything from boosting editorial traffic and affiliate sales to making commercial content that keeps clients coming back.
Please note, this is a hybrid role, you'll be required to work 3 days in our London office and the rest working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the SME to create reels and TikToks from both original and agency footage that boost Grazia’s engagement and follower counts, encourage traffic and drive affiliate sales.
- As well as working with the team to think about the best way to sell editorial pieces on social and via video, you should be full of ideas about what you think could work well and confident in suggesting them and encouraging team members to try them out.
- Helping team members with any technical issues.
- Attending shoots to create BTS content in the SME’s absence
- Creating videos alone and in conjunction with team members to pull off engaging videos (often on a tight deadline).
- You should be comfortable in front of and behind the cameras
- Suggesting new franchises and formats that will elevate Grazia’s video output.
- Keeping on top of the forward planner for social and working with the SME to execute pre-planned content
- Supporting the SME with posting and scheduling across all our social platforms, and covering day to day scheduling on social, particularly in busy periods.
- Supporting the SME and Digital Director with traffic reporting, uploading and forward planning where required.
- A good understanding of (and passion for) all things culture, news, fashion and beauty.
- You may be required to work some evenings and weekends in exchange for lieu time.
