About the Role 

Join our Group SAM Team and play a key role in managing software assets across the business! We oversee governance throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring accurate data, identifying risks, and uncovering savings opportunities. 

As a SAM Admin Analyst, you’ll handle data processing, maintain systems, and respond to licence-related queries through our licensing helpdesk. You’ll also assist in granting licences and collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve issues promptly, ensuring excellent service for our colleagues. 

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to support effective software management. 

 

Location: Hybrid (UK-based, with occasional travel to London) 

Your responsibilities 

  • Managing and processing requests for new software using mailboxes or service desk tools. 
  • Replying to queries within agreed SLAs. 
  • Setting up, maintaining, and closing user accounts on various licensing portals (e.g. Office 365, MSDN, Adobe). 
  • Maintaining accurate records within the Group IT Asset Management tool. 
  • Creating monthly cross-charge reports based on requests to be processed by Finance team. 
  • Assisting the ITAM team in understanding licence availability and usage, as reported by the ITAM tool. 
  • Creating and maintaining trend reporting to reflect progress against agreed metrics. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within IT or software asset management. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities 
  • Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent English communication skills (additional European languages such as German, Polish, French, or Danish are a plus but not essential)
