We are looking for a Trading Manager to join our Trading and Commercial Analysis Team in the UK.


The purpose of this role is to support the agency trading function in all day-to-day operations. To work with the Head of Trading & Director of Investment to ensure the successful delivery and analysis of all commercial trading agreements in the advertising agency space.


We are looking for a Trading Manager that embodies Bauer’s values to play a key part in the delivery of our Trading strategy with all of the key advertising agencies within the UK. 


We work to a Hybrid working model, this role can be based near any of our UK Office locations. You will be expected to travel to London on occasions for Team meet ups.


Key responsibilities


  • Trading Insight (Deal Tracking): Manage the tracking & analysis of the National and Regional trading agreements for Bauer Advertising. 
  • Maintenance of our Pricing Framework: Ensure all of our trading prices are up to date, accurate and loaded into the system in a timely fashion.
  • Agency Support:  Liaising with clients on deal performance and providing analysis to assist in maximising the potential of the deal.
  • Trading Strategy: Assist in the development of the group deal strategy to ensure complementary behaviour of individual deal negotiations and overall growth.
  • Agency Sales Support: Assisting sales teams with extracting the most value for their clients by fully leveraging their trading agreements.
  • Finance Support: Work with finance on all queries relating to trading, invoices, and value reconciliations. 


What you'll bring



•    Demonstratable experience in a similar role with a media owner/agency/consultancy
•    Knowledge of sales processes
•    Knowledge of database management



•    Advanced Excel
•    Advanced PowerPoint
•    Advanced Power BI
•    Market insight experience (NMR / SMI / RAJAR / Mediatel / Statista / WARC)
•    Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail
•    Skilled in providing a narrative to numbers and presenting the story back to senior management
