Business Development Executive

 

We are looking for a permanent Business Development Executive to join our Partnerships team at our office in Manchester. 

 

This is an ideal position for someone with a talent for client servicing and exposure to the partnership’s world, who is looking for their next step with a clear development path and training plan.

 

As a Business Development Executive, you will be creating and selling multi-platform partnership ideas. Working closely across our e-commerce and affiliate business, you will be responding to briefs by pitching and presenting creative campaigns. The aim of which will be to maximise revenue across Bauer Brands and Platforms. You will be using and developing a combination of sales and marketing expertise, analytical skills, and relationship-building capabilities.

 

Our Team

You will be joining our growing partnerships division across our portfolio of e-commerce consumer brands including our voucher shop Planet Offers, our competitions site Win Happy and of course on-air and online across our market leading audio brands.

 

 

This a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in Manchester. 

 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify new clients with a target and revenue driven approach.
  • Develop proposals to address clients’ goals and creating opportunities.
  • Plan media spending strategies to increase client brand awareness and drive sales goals.
  • Manage relationships with existing affiliate and direct clients.
  • Look for new and exciting partnership ideas and concepts.
  • Analyse partnerships performance, track KPIs, and create regular reports.
  • Create strong returning campaigns for clients and consumers.
  • Ensure our partnerships follow legal and brand guidelines. 
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and affiliate marketing best practices.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in similar or a commercial-focused and creative environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong partnerships.
  • A proven track record in successfully driving partnership revenues.
  • A sound knowledge of radio and the commercial opportunity it offers.
  • An understanding of Affiliate Marketing is preferable but not essential.
