CRO & SEO Lead
We’re growing! Join our expanding Digital Consumer Competitions team as our new CRO & SEO Lead in Manchester.
Operating a pivotal role within our business, you will drive the Digital strategy forwards on winhappy.com utilising your unique blend of creativity, commercial focus, technical understanding of SEO/CRO and a passion for improving the user experience (UX).
You will be the go-to person for all things UX, SEO, CRO and action aimed at delivering exceptional with a focus on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and engagement.
Our Team
We are Enterprise - the backbone of non-traditional commercial operations for Bauer Media UK's Audio and Publishing divisions. Our work includes life-changing Competitions like 'Cash Register' and ‘Make Me A Winner’; online transactional businesses such as ‘Planet Offers’; 100+ dating sites including ‘Coupling Up’ and ‘Magic dating’; and partnerships such as 'Bella Casino', and 'Planet Rock Casino'.
You’ll be working across our Radio Competitions business (where we offer people the chance to win life changing amounts of cash), Planet Offers (a multi-million-pound voucher business that is growing rapidly), Bauer’s Dating portfolio (50+ sites) and Partnerships.
We are a rapidly growing and collaborative section of Bauer Media we all work together to hit our goals. The team currently sit within our Preston office but will be moving to our Manchester office which is going through a refurbishment.
What you will be doing
- Content Strategy Development: Delivering the vision and strategy for the 'look & feel' of winhappy.com to enhance customer experience and align with brand goals.
- CRO: Developing a long term CRO strategy. Executing AB testing to optimize the UX/UI, improving the customer journey and maximising conversion rate.
- SEO: Define and lead on-site and technical SEO initiatives to improve search rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance discoverability.
- UX & CX Improvement: Leading continuous improvement initiatives for online UX and CX, ensuring the site evolves with consumer needs and expectations.
- Creative Collaboration: Partnering with designers to produce high-quality images, video, and audio content that enhance the site’s appeal.
- Enhancements Management: Providing the Digital Development Team with development requirements and enhancements required for AB testing and site improvements.
- Campaign Support: Supporting Marketing with campaign AB testing as required.
- Supplier Negotiation: Negotiating with suppliers as required, in collaboration with the Operations Director.
- Horizon Scanning: Identifying and implementing emerging trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in eCommerce.
What you will bring
You will play a pivotal role in driving growth in the Consumer Competitions team and ensuring a seamless online experience for consumers. This role is in a high-growth business so would suit a proactive, self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional online services. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Proven experience in SEO and CRO, with a track record of successfully managing multi-faceted online operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and digital analytics tools
- Deep understanding of user experience best practices, and conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret market/consumer data, generate insights, and drive data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, diligence, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong consumer focus, marketing, commercial and operational awareness.
