This position is working remotely (from an agreed location) but may require occasional office visits. Hot-desking at an office location is available should the candidate prefer.
The Main Focus of the Role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative web and voice-connected solutions for our consumer-facing products.
This role focuses on delivering value to the business and its international markets by aligning development efforts with customer and market needs, as defined by our product and technology teams. A strong foundation in hands-on development, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on translating requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions are essential.
You will contribute effectively within the team, share your expertise, and ensure that development goals are met efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Optimise performance and security, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, DevOps, and Platform, to deliver seamless solutions.
- Build features that integrate seamlessly across both in-house systems and partner ecosystems, ensuring consistency and high-quality user experiences.
- Contribute to Agile processes by actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write and maintain automated tests, ensuring reliability and catching issues early.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve quality.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions to improve application efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing to technical decisions, enhancing the development stack, and sharing knowledge.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in full-stack development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Knowledge of secure coding principles, performance optimization, and software scalability.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices: Use CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, GitHub Actions, and AWS Lambda for efficient, scalable solutions.
- Experience or knowledge of working with REST APIs.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- A passion for music, technology and making the lives of our listeners better would be a preference.
