The Difference you will make
As The Head of Online you will be accountable for the end-to-end performance of makemeawinner.co.uk’s online channel. You will be developing the online strategy in collaboration with the senior management team and own the online P&L, product roadmap and customer experience, ensuring that product, technology, propositions and marketing work together to deliver sustainable growth.
Acting as the “conductor” of all online activity, you will turn strategic objectives into a coherent, prioritised delivery plan and ensures strong execution across teams and partners.
Your role
- Translate the overarching commercial strategy and targets into a clear, integrated online plan covering product, UX/UI, propositions, marketing and operations.
- Define and maintain the online roadmap, balancing growth, customer experience, compliance and operational efficiency.
- Own the full online P&L and performance view, including acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue.
- Oversee the online product portfolio, including competitions, mechanics and pricing strategies.
- Lead the delivery of UX/UI improvements to enhance customer journeys, conversion and engagement.
- Line-manage and prioritise the work of the ‘Online Product & Technology Manager’ and ‘Online Propositions & Growth Manager’.
- Take responsibility for key commercial and product decisions within remit.
The Skills you will bring
- Proven senior experience owning and growing an online or digital P&L.
- Strong background in digital product management, UX/UI optimisation and online propositions.
- Experience leading and prioritising multidisciplinary teams.
- Commercially sharp, data-driven and experience making high-impact decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week. We also support a hybrid work model that balances working from home and our office in Manchester (Castle Quays)
