Junior Business Analyst

About the Role  

 

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Junior Business Analyst to join our Bauer Media Advertising team in London. If you’re passionate about turning data into insight, enjoy working cross-functionally, and want to grow your career in media and finance, this is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you’ll support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making across our audio advertising business. You’ll work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to help drive performance and ensure accurate forecasting and analysis.

 

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days in office: Tuesday to Thursday)

 

What you’ll be doing 

 

  • Assist in compiling daily and weekly booking reports across territories.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly audio revenue forecasts.
  • Help identify risks and opportunities in financial data and contribute to mitigation planning.
  • Contribute to monthly commentary reports, combining trading data, KPIs, and market insights.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly review packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the management of commission structures and target setting.
  • Provide analytical support for operational decisions and commercial initiatives.
  • Help model financial scenarios and assess potential outcomes.
  • Attend meetings to provide data and insights that support business discussions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across audio and publishing to share learnings and best practices.

  

What you’ll bring 

 

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • A curious mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support team goals.
  • Confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial tools is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for media, advertising, and business strategy.
