As our Marketing Operations Apprentice, you will play a key role in ensuring our digital marketing campaigns run smoothly, produce insightful reports on customer spending, and uphold the highest standards for our competitions. You'll assist in managing client queries and complaints, providing stellar technical support for consumer competitions.

The consumer competition team is dedicated to creating, managing, and enhancing engagement through our competitions, that give our audiences the chance to win life changing prizes. This team designs innovative competitions that captivate audiences, driving participation through strategic marketing efforts across multiple platforms including radio, digital, and social media.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Creating and testing bespoke competition campaigns for a wide variety of Audio and print brands
  • Building and running large-volume mobile and social media marketing campaigns
  • Supporting high-profile competition campaigns with all technical & compliance needs
  • Managing daily competition draws for the group
  • Understanding complex competition data and provide an in-depth breakdown of key statistics
  • Creating regular reports for internal stakeholders and presenting any findings
  • Responding to all listener queries and complaints regarding premium rate competitions
  • Ensure that all customer care requests are responded to within a timely manor
  • Covering any technical set up requests from the group on our SMS Campaign Manager platform
  • Understand and oversee all compliance requirements when managing premium rate services for the group

 

Person Specification 

  • Be a real team player and have a “roll your sleeves up” attitude
  • Have a strong analytical background to identify and understand technical issues
  • Strong excel skills (e.g. managing large volumes of data, importing/exporting, pivot tables)
  • Organised and process driven
  • Ability to balance and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of radio or mobile technology would be advantageous

Desirable

  • Experience with data input, scheduling or digital marketing
  • Experience in customer care or customer/client facing roles

 

You will be trained by our award-winning in-house training provider Bauer Academy, once completed you will gain:

  • L3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Certification – Equivalent to 2 A-levels in terms of level.
  • Practical Skills – things like campaign planning, social media, content creation, email marketing, SEO, analytics, and customer engagement.
  • Work Experience – hands-on, so you finish with both learning and real examples for your portfolio.
