The Difference you will make
As The Online Product & Technology Manager you will be responsible for the executional delivery of the online platform, product backlog and technology roadmap for makemeawinner.co.uk. Using a hands-on and specialist approach you will, focus on ensuring the platform and supporting systems are stable, optimised and continuously improved.
Working under the direction of the Head of Online, you will act as the key link between the business, IT and external product and technology partners.
Your role
- Own and manage the online product backlog, ensuring work is aligned to business objectives.
- Translate strategic priorities from the Head of Online into executable product and technical requirements.
- Act as the day-to-day product and technology owner for the online platform.
- Own the roadmap for the SMS provider platform, which powers the SMS entry point and backend campaign setup.
- Work with IT and external product partners on deployments, releases, fixes and integrations.
- Lead UX experimentation and testing to improve customer journeys, reduce friction and increase conversion.
- Monitor platform, UX and operational performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with Performance Marketing, Operations, Insights and Legal to ensure solutions are customer-focused, compliant and operationally sound.
The Skills you will bring
- Proven experience in digital product management or technology delivery.
- Strong understanding of online platforms, backend systems and UX/UI best practice.
- Experience working with third-party technology providers.
- Experience managing backlogs, requirements and delivery in an agile or iterative environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week. We also support a hybrid work model that balances working from home and our office in Manchester (Castle Quay)
