Senior Business Analyst

This is a hybrid role from our Manchester office.

Our Team: How we enrich everyday life

You’ll be joining our Audio Technology Joint Capability Team (JCT), a collaborative group that supports Bauer’s radio and audio brands across the UK and Europe. We deliver the tools, systems and processes that keep our audio operations running smoothly — from core business platforms to the technology that underpins our broadcast operations.

You’ll work alongside developers, programme managers, SMEs and in‑market teams in an open, supportive environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged. You’ll also be part of a growing BA community to share best practice and continually evolve how we work.

The difference you will make

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering a number of technology projects and programmes of work within the audio space. You’ll bring structure, clarity and insight to complex business problems, helping us understand current processes and defining new solutions, ensuring projects deliver with high-quality.

Your role

In this role, you will analyse business processes, define requirements, and work closely with Agile development squads to guide the delivery of technology solutions. You will support complex change within the organisation and manage activities across multiple matrix teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for project/workstream stakeholders.
  • Contributing to Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, refinement and sprint planning.
  • Working through each stage of a project lifecycle and being the interface between the business and technical teams.
  • Preparing and facilitating workshops across business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Supporting feasibility analysis and contributing to business case development.
  • Proposing solutions to problems, considering timeliness, effectiveness and practicality.
  • Engaging with cross‑market teams and stakeholders, including those whose first language may not be English.

The skills you will bring

Required

  • Experience working closely with Agile development squads or similar.
  • Strong process development including process mapping using tools such as Miro and Visio.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence within a delivery environment.
  • Experience implementing or supporting business package applications.
  • Ability to gather, analyse and communicate requirements clearly.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills at all levels and the ability to challenge business assumptions, while maintaining diplomacy.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, deliver under pressure and work autonomously to deliver solutions.
  • Strong capability in user story definition and acceptance criteria creation.

Desired

  • Experience in audio, broadcasting, media or advertising environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365.
  • Background in mid‑sized organisations with some structure but room for influence.

Working pattern / Location

This is a full-time role, Manchester‑based, with hybrid working available and occasional travel.
