Accounts Payable Payments Analyst (maternity cover)

About the Role:
Join our Accounts Payable team as an Accounts Payable Analyst (Payments). You will be responsible for processing payments to suppliers, freelancers, and employees, managing direct debits, and handling payment queries. You’ll also support senior management with payment approvals, prepare monthly KPIs, and identify process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming emails and manage queries.
• Ensure timely manual payments and supplier direct debits.
• Run weekly pay cycles across the UK territories (BACS, cheque, foreign wire).
• Resolve payment issues and support audit queries.
• Prepare KPI reports for management and onboard new companies to S/4.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in shared services or Accounts Payable.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
