Expenses Analyst

 

We are looking for an Expenses Analyst to join our finance team in Peterborough.

 

In this role you will be supporting queries that relate to employee expense claims submitted through SAP concur. You will establish and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders in the Business.  You will liaise with business users and ensure that employee expense claims are validated within the set SLA.

This is a hybrid position you will be working from home and our office location in Peterborough.

 

 

What you will do

 

  • Validation and Processing of daily employee claims
  • Ensure the alignment with budget allocations and identify areas for cost saving, anomalies.
  • Ensure that spending adheres to company policies and compliance regulations.
  • Manage incoming email/requests via shared mailbox.
  • Reconcile existing company credit card claims.
  • Process claims in line with Service Level Agreement.
  • Prepare Monthly KPI reporting for Management.
  • Interact with the Business when required.
  • Provide necessary expenditure data and support on any queries related to internal and external audit.
  • Support with queries on travel via clarity when required.
  • Support with the monthly purchasing card process.
  • Actively support on additional tasks within the Accounts Payable team if needed.

 

What you will bring

 

Essential

 

  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to manage and organise varied workload and deadlines.
  • Ability to use own initiative and be adaptable.
  • Proactive attitude with team oriented, collaborative working style.
  • Ability to explain complex data to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with various areas.

 

Desirable

 

  • SAP concur experience.
  • Experience of working within Accounts Payable.
  • Experience of working with a Travel & Management tool.
