Interim HR Operations Manager (6 Months)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Operations Manager to lead our HR Specialist and HR Administration teams through a transitional period. This key role ensures smooth HR operations, drives process improvements, and supports the business with customer-focused service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and operational expertise to maintain excellence during this interim period.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor HR teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Operational Management: Oversee HR services like onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and compliance, while resolving complex issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement immediate opportunities to streamline HR operations, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR Business Partners, payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to meet business needs.
  • Compliance & Data Management: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain data integrity in HR systems.
  • Project Support: Lead or support HR transformation projects, ensuring smooth change management and process adoption.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in HR operations or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on service delivery and team support.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (preferably SuccessFactors/SAP) and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and drive operational efficiency in a transitional environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in shared services or centralized HR operations.
  • Project management experience in HR transformation.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

 

This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of  6 months. The role offers valuable experience in HR management, and we are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact during the term of the contract.
