M365 Engineer (m/f/d)

The M365 Engineer is working as part of a new team which will take overall ownership of Microsoft 365 within Bauer at a Group level. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage the Bauer M365 tenant, associated services and to be the single point of change for all global administrative changes, policy updates and upgrades. This individual will also be responsible for commissioning new services and providing 3rd level and major incident support to local platform and technical teams.
What your responsibilities will be

  • As a contribution to Group Enterprise Architecture, you maintain the M365 Roadmaps and related Architecture artifacts, support, and mentor less experienced members of the team.
  • You work with Microsoft and other 3rd parties to keep informed of future product development and own architectural and strategic alignment of all global M365 changes.
  • You are responsible for assessing Conscious Action and Risks
  • You provide major incident support, and input on key decisions on priorities and design as well as automation within the M365 solution and look for efficiencies to be gained with the use of automation.
  • You consult in technology internal and Bauer wise projects and liaise with other analysts or team members to share and develop ideas.

What you bring

  • You bring Extensive experience as an M365 Administrator/Engineer and several years of consulting, development and professional experience in the area of Microsoft365 – a strong PowerShell scripting skills to be able to write new and update existing scripts to a changing environment is a must have.
  • You have a proven and demonstrable knowledge of the M365 product portfolio (SharePoint Online, Teams, PowerPlatform, Graph API, Azure Functions, Information Protection), Microsoft technical certifications in SharePoint, Exchange and Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • You demonstrate an expert understanding at a user level of Office 365 workloads, including: Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and of the following administrative roles: Global administrator, Exchange administrator, Teams administrator, SharePoint administrator, Groups administrator, User administrator, Azure AD administrator, Security and Compliance administrator.
  • Clear communication in English
  • You love to work independently and do train and obtain information, to develop solutions and to estimate of costs and time expenditure for the systems.
