People Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a People Operations Analyst to join our People Operations team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR data, reporting or systems experience who enjoys improving processes and helping teams work smarter.

As a People Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and reliability of our people data. You will support our operational processes, deliver essential reporting, and help embed new ways of working across the People function.
 
You’ll work at pace in a busy environment, balancing day to day delivery with cyclical deadlines and project activity, while partnering closely with colleagues across HR and our wider teams.
 

Your Role

 

Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate with People Operations colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver consistent, high quality operational support.
  • Act as a point of expertise on people data, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and accurately.
  • Support inbox management and ensure timely responses to employees and managers.
  • Represent the team confidently on data and process related matters.

 

Operational Data Management

  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our people data across the HR systems landscape.
  • Lead and oversee regular data audits, reconciliations and validation checks.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Manage and deliver mass uploads, corrections and data changes with high accuracy.
  • Support the annual salary review cycle through data preparation, auditing and system updates.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, improving data lifecycle management.

 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build, maintain and deliver HR dashboards and reports for operational and strategic use.
  • Produce time critical statutory reporting, including Gender Pay Gap, D&I and Ofcom submissions.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights, trends and recommendations.
  • Support ad hoc reporting needs across the People team and wider business.

 

Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as an escalation point for data and system issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems where possible.
  • Partner with People Technology to support configuration changes, testing and integrations.
  • Participate in UAT, system enhancements and post go live validation.
  • Maintain process documentation, guides and training materials.
  • Share knowledge and support the upskilling of team members and stakeholders.

 

The Skills you will bring

  • Highly organised, detail focused and reliable under time pressure.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge data.
  • Confident communicator who can build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recurring deliverables.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a proactive, improvement focused approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills; confident using HR systems and reporting tools (e.g. SuccessFactors, iTrent, Power BI).
  • Understanding of GDPR, right to work processes and HR data compliance.
  • Experience working with large datasets and maintaining data accuracy.

 

Working Pattern/Location: 

This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in Peterborough.
