Reporting Accountant (6 month FTC)

We’re looking for a Reporting Account to join our Finance team on a 6 month FTC basis at our Peterborough office.

As a Reporting Accountant you will have overall responsibility for assigned accounting operations as well as associated analysis and report activities.

Our Team

The Accounting team is responsible for fulfilling daily accounting tasks plus statutory reporting and the reporting to Germany for the external consolidation for all UK entities. The accounting team also delivers the base for the monthly internal management reporting. The Accounting & Treasury Department includes roughly 30 employees, divided into 3 teams.

This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in Peterborough.

What you’ll be doing

• Execute efficient and comprehensive accounting processes.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure adherence to statutory and overseas requirements, serving as the foundation for management and other reporting needs.
• Adapt to changes within the accounting environment, including the implementation of new systems and organisational structures.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams such as transactional accounting and FP&A, as well as external stakeholders like auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and workload optimisation.

What you’ll bring

• Experience of accounting in a similar role.
• Strong financial accounting knowledge.
• Accounting qualification or degree in related field.
• Advanced Excel ability.
