Job Title: Integration Architect 

 

Join Bauer Media’s Technology Team in a pivotal role as Integration Integration Architect You will lead Bauer Media’s enterprise integration strategy, building scalable, efficient processes that connect CRMs, sales systems, and the finance platform (SAP S4/HANA). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and business transformation across multiple European regions, following a significant finance transformation rollout.

 

Your secondary responsibility includes managing the performance and delivery of integration services, ensuring operational excellence while serving as an escalation point for integration-related incidents. All supported by a Senior Integration Analyst.

 

Following a major finance transformation rollout across Bauer Media’s Audio countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, and Slovakia), the enterprise system landscape now includes a key integration layer connecting CRMs, sales systems, and the finance platform (S4/HANA). You will lead the integration strategy, manage service delivery performance, and ensure seamless, scalable integration processes across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

 

Integration Product Ownership (Primary Focus):

 

  • Enterprise Strategy: Design and maintain a scalable enterprise integration strategy and roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Technical teams to define use cases and document integration requirements.
  • Product Backlog Management: Prioritize integration features, plan releases, and oversee the integration product backlog.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate integration performance and gather feedback to drive improvements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for integration technologies and processes.
  • Technical Alignment: Collaborate with the Integration Analyst to translate business needs into technical solutions.

 

Service Delivery Management (25-30% of the Role):

 

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the delivery and performance of integration services, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
  • Incident Management: Act as the escalation point for integration-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Manage relationships with third-party integration vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Reporting and Risk Management: Prepare detailed reports on integration performance, incidents, and significant risks or challenges.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Senior Integration Analyst’s line and functional management, ensuring smooth integration operations and providing holiday coverage as needed.
  • Project Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and resources for integration-related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

 

Challenges and Opportunities

 

  • Leading complex integration efforts across multiple countries with diverse system requirements.
  • Ensuring alignment across sales, CRM, finance, and broadcast systems within a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Managing vendor performance and fostering collaboration between internal and external teams.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

Must-Have Skills:

 

  • Proven experience as a integration architect, product owner with a focus on system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with Master Data Management, Sales Systems, and CRM technologies.
  • Vendor management expertise and familiarity with third-party service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-country, multi-system integration projects.

 

Desirable Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of broadcast systems and experience in the media or audio industry.
  • Experience integrating CRM or sales systems such as HubSpot, Aquira, or i2 with SAP S4/HANA using CPI middleware.
  • Familiarity with Brix CRM.
  • Experience working in European markets and managing cross-cultural teams.
