Charity Manager

We’re looking for a Cash for Kids Charity Manager to join our Cash For Kids team on a full-time basis in Liverpool & Lancashire.

 

Reporting to the Regional Charity Manager, you'll join a passionate team, working remotely with office visits as needed.

 

We seek an ambitious self-starter with strong communication, administration, sales, and presentation skills. You'll build relationships with key stakeholders and leverage local corporate contacts to benefit our mission.

 

A key focus will be networking to recruit companies to support Cash for Kids across the North West.

 

This is a hybrid position where you will work from home and our offices across the North West.

 

Our Team:

Cash for Kids is the umbrella brand for 22 local children’s charities in the UK.  Owned by Bauer Media, we are aligned to the Bauer Radio local radio stations and raise funds to grant to under 18’s who are sick, disabled or underprivileged.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the charity’s strategic direction, planning, and daily management.
  • Achieving fundraising targets through high-profile campaigns and events.
  • Engaging corporates, schools, and businesses to create fundraising events.
  • Developing new fundraising opportunities while maintaining existing supporter relationships.
  • Networking and developing  new corporate partnerships
  • Assessing fundraising activities and propose strategies to maximise impact.
  • Creating PR plans, managing grant applications, and overseeing on-air appeals.
  • Recruiting, managing, and supporting volunteers and fundraising teams.
  • Work from the Mission Christmas warehouse in November and December.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven sales/corporate experience with presentation skills.
  • Project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work for maximum cash growth impact.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media, and presentation tools.
  • Flexible to work evenings/weekends; must have a full UK driving license.
  • Experience in fundraising, events, marketing, or PR is advantageous.

We will also require a DBS check to be carried out upon commencement of role.  Candidates must reside within the transmission area, and have strong corporate connections in these areas
